Not everyone cares about football but there's no getting away from it during the World Cup. So, we've created a sweepstake for everyone. 32 organisations have each been aligned to a World Cup team.
You can follow their fortunes, here and on Twitter. We'll be awarding prizes for first own-goal, sending off, fair play, and whatever else we feel like. There will be a prize giving ceremony at the Cog studio on July 12.

We were over the moon about the popularity of our World Cup Sweepstake.
32 organisations were each aligned to a World Cup team and we followed their progress through the South African tournament.
There was a prize giving ceremony at the Cog studio on July 13 where the winners, Cure Studio, were given their own vuvuzela.
We can’t wait to do it all again in 2016 when the World Cup will be in Brazil!

Some of us are a little over-excited about the World Cup. Others don’t seem to care about the beautiful game. To unite the squad we’ll be running our own sweepstake.
We’ll be picking 32 captains; bookmark this page to cheer them along as the tournament progresses.
* We’ll be matching each of the chosen entrants to a proper World Cup team in an almost live draw. In reality, we’ll probably have filmed it earlier in the day but it’ll be nice to maintain the illusion of spontaneity so we won’t tell anyone who they’ve got until then.
